Originally from ÅŒtautahi (Christchurch), Bridget began her healthcare journey in 2014 when she returned from overseas to study at The NZ School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Wellington.
Bridget completed her BHSc in Acupuncture and earned a Diploma in Tuina, traditional Chinese medical massage. Following her diploma, Bridget opened Bridge to Health, a medical massage clinic in Wellington, while simultaneously completing her degree.
Bridge to Health thrived, offering Bridget invaluable experience in running a health clinic and enhancing her skills as a hands-on health practitioner.
Passionate about female health, Bridget spent a year working under Dr. Debra Betts, PhD, at the Lower Hutt Hospital, specializing in pregnancy and postpartum care.
Bridget also dedicated a year to volunteering at Arohata Women's Prison, providing acupuncture to support the mental health of women completing the Drug Rehabilitation program—a program initiated by acupuncturist Becs Arahanga.
In 2018, after completing her BHSc in Acupuncture, Bridget joined Acupuncture Heretaunga and managed it from 2018 to 2021. In 2021, Bridget moved to Napier, collaborating with Alex Acupuncture.
In 2022, she found the perfect location to open her own clinic, a quiet oasis, situated upstairs in one of Napier's iconic Art Deco buildings. After two months of intensive renovations, Bridget proudly created an inner-city sanctuary where clients can truly unwind.
Bridget is incredibly passionate about holistic health and Traditional Chinese medicine. While at Acupuncture Heretaunga, she closely collaborated with Cape Physio, gaining extensive experience in treating musculoskeletal conditions and injury rehabilitation.
Bridget has established a robust practice focused on mental health, women's health, and fertility. In a fast-paced world, Bridget helps clients regain balance, employing a combined approach of acupuncture, herbal medicine, and therapeutic advice.

FLis PASK
ACC & CMC Registered
Classically Trained Acupuncturist
Polstar Pilates Instructor
Reflexology & Massage Therapist.
Flis began her journey in health and movement in the UK. After becoming disillusioned with a decade-long career in investment banking, she transitioned into the exercise and wellness industry. With a holistic approach to health, she has gained qualifications in Reflexology, Pilates, Myofascial Release (MFR), and most recently, Classical Acupuncture.
Her first introduction to acupuncture came in a London NHS hospital, where it was offered as an option to support a difficult birth before moving to more invasive interventions such as forceps or an epidural. The treatment was successful, and she was able to deliver her baby without intervention. This experience profoundly shaped her understanding and respect for acupuncture.
Determined to pursue this path further, Flis undertook formal study with one of the few international schools specialising in Classical Acupuncture, based in France, and graduated in 2023.
For the past 15 years, she has worked alongside physiotherapists and chiropractors in Pilates rehabilitation and health-focused environments, including seven years with Fusion Physio in Ahuriri. Through this work, she deepened her understanding of movement dysfunction and its causes, recognising how emotional, psychological, and physical states are intrinsically connected and influence one another when out of balance. This insight reinforced her belief in the role of acupuncture in restoring harmony.
Flis has also built a strong network of like-minded professionals with whom she collaborates to ensure clients receive the best possible care. By adding acupuncture to her skill set, she has expanded her ability to offer an effective alternative therapy, one that enhances health, wellbeing, and ultimately quality of life.
